What's New in 1997:

Sept 11, 1997

• A new electronic research article, Globalizing two-dimensional unstable manifolds of maps, by Bernd Krauskopf and Hinke Osinga has been added to the Geometry Center archive of multimedia research articles.

Sept 2, 1997

• WebEQ 2.0, the first full-production release of the Geometry Center's leading-edge software for including mathematical notation in Web documents is now available.

June 30, 1997

• The Proceedings of the Conference on Electronic Communication in Mathematics have been made available online. In keeping with the spirit of the conference, held May 29 - June 1, 1997 at the Geometry Center, the proceedings consist entirely of electronic documents together with RealAudio recordings of the invited addresses.

May 9, 1997

• The Center is involved in a joint project for distance learning development. Check our new pages on the Distance Learning Initative.

February 4, 1997

• This new page will link you to the numerous projects undertaken at the Geometry Center, ranging from elementary school education to spacecraft design.

February 3, 1997

• Experiment with numerical integration of data sets with the latest addition to the Center's Gallery of Interactive Geometry, Numerical Integration.
