Patrick Worfolk's Home Page

Following two exciting years as a postdoctoral fellow at The Geometry Center, Patrick moved to California to do mathematical consulting work. After two and a half years of consulting, he caught the Silicon Valley bug and joined a start-up company in the wireless networking industry. He currently manages algorithm development at Caly Networks.

While at the Geometry Center, Patrick worked on a variety of projects and had research interests including:

• visualizing and analyzing satellite constellations (SaVi);
• numerical computation environments for dynamical systems ( DsTool ) and dynamic simulation and visualization;
• Java applets which simulate common dynamical systems;
• computing and visualizing halo orbits and their stable and unstable manifolds for the restricted three body problem in three dimensions;
• symbolic computation for dynamical systems;
• applications of dynamical systems to industrial problems;
• equivariant bifurcation;
• and homoclinic bifurcation.
