3. Sketch the basic shape. Label the vertices as A, B, ... and their angle measurements.

• Find the relationship between the number of vertices meet at a vertex and its angle measurement.

• Test your conjecture by using Fig. 4 (i.e., repeat what you did with Fig. 1 - 3.)

• Choose one of the shapes from the set of overhead pattern blocks.
  
• Trace the pattern block.
  
• Sketch a design inside the shape that is not symmetric and not very complicated.
  
• Flip the shape over each of its edges, trace the new shapes with the design after it has been reflected.
  
• Imagine what would happen if you continued this process and covered your entire paper.
  
• Compare this to the designs in the lesson.
  
• If you repeated this process on the other overhead pattern blocks which of them would cover the paper?
  
• Conjecture and test.
