Generating Frames
Before you can make a movie, you will need to be able to generate the
still frames that will be put together to make the animation. How you
do this will depend on what you are depicting in your movie. You may
be able to draw the frames by hand using a paint or draw program, but
more likely you will use a piece of mathematical software like
Mathematica or Maple to generate the frames for your movie.
If you have a Unix system, and the time, space, and interest
to load another software tool, then you may well want to
consider one of the major products from the Geometry Center:
