Generating Animation Frames:
Getting Images from Maple or Mathematica
You can use Mathematica or Maple to generate images for animations.
You will need to create a bunch of related images that will form the
movie, and save them out individually, or use a tool like
Math2HTML
to convert the images for you.
On a Unix system, you probably will want to write out postscript files from
Mathematica or Maple and then convert them to .gif files (you can
adjust the size easily this way), or you could just write out the .gif
files directory. On a Mac, you may find it easier to copy the
graphics directly from Mathematica or Maple and paste them into
GIFBuilder or GIF Converter.
