Scene 1.3. The solar wind

The sun contains about 99.7% of the mass in the solar system and probably represents the composition of the early nebula, unless fractionation occurred as the sun accreted.

The atomic and isotopic composition of the sun determined by measurements on collected solar wind are fundamental data against which all theories of solar system formation can be tested.

Begin with a close-up view of the sun then slowly zoom out to show whole sun and radiation coming outward.
