Requirements
To successfully install Pisces, you should have one of the
operating system below and about 4MB of disk space. The amount of
RAM you need depends on the problems you intend Pisces to work on.
- Sun (SunOS 4.x) (Solaris not yet tested)
- SGI (IRIX 4.x)
- NeXTStep
- Linux (not yet available)
- Windows (not yet available)
In addition to the configurations specified above, you must have the
Tcl/Tk toolkit already installed. This is required by
Pisces. Tcl/Tk is a toolkit for graphics and a scripting
command language.
We also suggest, but do not require, that you
install
Geomview,
an advanced 3D graphics program for mathematical visualization.
