Tesselmania

This program is available is both versions (PC/MAC). As the title implies, it deals with tesselations, the tiling of a plane. The middle school has five copies of the disk.

In the program, you can create your own tesselation or alter the sample tesselations given to you. Altering may be done by changing the shape and color. This would be a great follow up after students have created their own tesselations.

This program may not be available for you to run at the workshop. However, here is a link to MECC's demo version of Tesselmania which you can down load at home.
