Mathematics Software

There are a large number of software packages available to aid in the teaching of mathematics. Geometry requires the ability to visualize the concept(s) being taught. The computer enables this to happen easily and in color. Many students are visual learners and with the aid of the computer, their learning is greatly enhanced.

Unfortunately, software is not always available in PC & MAC versions. Due to the graphics capability of the Mac, more software is available at present in this format.

The following are programs that were used at the Geometry Center. Give them a try.
