Still Pictures of the Figure-8 Torus

Selecting a small picture will enlarge it.

From overhead, the torus looks like two linked rings.

Much of the self-intersection circle is visible.

The self-intersection is visible from another viewpoint.

In the next two pictures a portion of the torus has been cut away.

This is the same view as in the first picture.

The figure-8 cross section is visible.
