Figure 10: Two views of one branch of the stable manifold of the 3D-fattened Arnol'd family (4) for , , and . The red and blue spikes are the linear approximations of the stable and unstable manifolds at the 50 mesh points. The light blue curve is the strong stable manifold of the saddle point that is attracting on the circle. The orange curve is the stable manifold of the other saddle.

The Arnol'd family is one of the examples.
