The expression crossbreeder and mutator was written in Scheme. The image function evaluator was written by extending libscheme, an imbeddable Scheme interpreter [Ben], to add a grid data type and operations to manipulate grids. The mutation toolkit was written in Tk/Tcl [Ous] with the photo [Mac] and tree [Bri] extensions.
The entire toolkit is portable to any UNIX
platform
running the X Window System with an
ANSI C compiler.
