Introduction

In this lab, we will use integration to explore the mathematics associated with the oscillatory motion of beams. Our first task will consist of studying the modelling of these motions using a system of linear differential equations. Based on our conclusions, we will then be led to explore the use of a system of nonlinear partial differential equations.
