The Catenary is the curve formed by a perfectly flexible inextensible chain of uniform density hanging from two supports. One way to parameterize the catenary is:
catenary(t)=(b*cosh(t/b),t) b > 0 and -pi < t < pi
In the picture b is equal to 1.
