There are three major regimes of solar wind, which change from time to time - typically every few days. Some collectors will always be exposed, collecting a bulk solar wind sample for all regimes, while others will be exposed only when specific regimes are prevalent.
Advanced analytical instrument facilities will be developed to allow terrestrial laboratories to analyze the returned samples of the solar wind.
