Beams, Bending, and Boundary Conditions

Introduction

In this lab, we will use integration to explore the mathematics associated with the static deformation of beams. Before getting started, you will need to understand the concepts of centroids and moments of inertia. You will then be able to move on to the experiments using beams supported in three different manners, as described below.
