Color is assigned according to u parameter.

Animation showing sequential percentages of the surface according to increase in the u parameter.

Animation showing sequential percentages of the surface according to increase in the v parameter. After 24 frames, the sphere is rotated so that the rest of the animation will be visible.

The problem of everting the sphere has more than one solution. Recently, The Geometry Center produced the movie Outside In, which animated and illustrated one eversion of the sphere. Outside In has its home page at http://www.geom.uiuc.edu/docs/outreach/oi.
