Major Premium Increases

The big news this open enrollment is big premium increases. They range from 10.8% for HealthPartners Classic to 24.6% for Medica Primary. Under the State and University contracts, the employer must still pay 100% of the low plan for employee coverage and 90% of the low plan for dependent coverage for. Certain part time employees will have employer contributions that are 75% of the contribution for full time workers.
