Activities at the Geometry Center
Adam is a student programmer who works on the maintenance and
enhancement of the Center's World Wide Web server. Currently, he is
working on an event-announcement system under the direction of
Robert Miner.
His past projects have included the center's
Graphics Archive,
an engine for searching the Center's web pages, a Perl
library for creating CGI scripts used in interactive web documents, and an
interactive web form for sending email.
His main tool in these regards is the programming language Perl.
Background
Adam began working at the Geometry Center in the winter of 1995 after
becoming interested in working on world-wide web servers.
He had configured and maintained his own server back when
"the Web" was a small and recent novelty. He learned about the Center
from its web site.
Education
Currently an undergraduate in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota,
Twin Cities campus.
