Webivore The Geometry Center has been selected as one of the Top Web Sites as named by PC Novice/Smart Computing magazine.
Webivore The Rainbow Lab and Icosahedron: Build One in the Classroom are featured in the Webivore's collection of educational web pages. March, 1999.

Our site was selected by the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse as a featured "Digital Dozen" site for the month of June, 1997. The ENC collects both physical and virtual resources useful to math and science educators.
The JAVA Gallery of Interactive Geometry has been recognized for the quality of its content with the Dr. Matrix Award for Science Excellence. Dr. Matrix sent "a heart-felt thank you for enriching the time we spend on the WWW". May 1997.
The Geometry Center was named by The Net magazine's editors as one of the top five web sites in the world in the science category. In addition, our site was named as one of the Top 100 Web Sites of All Time! The Net's editorial staff found that our site excelled in three critical areas: content, aesthetic merit and techno smartness. The Net magazine is published by Imagine Publishing. Feb. 1997.
Three Geometry Center pages have won awards from Pacific Bell: our home page, interactive applications page, and the Rainbow Lab. They have been selected for inclusion in the Blue Web'n Learning Applications Library. Inclusion in the database is an honor reserved for the best instructional lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, and tools on the Web. March 1996, Feb. 1997, and March 1997.
The editorial staff of the online magazine "The GIST" chose our site as a featured Web Pick for Monday, Feb. 10, 1997.
"Your work shines..." This award for our overall site and The Gallery of Interactive Geometry is from Bonus.com, home of The SuperSite for Kids. The mission of Bonus.com is to provide a fun and enriching experience for children and their families on the World Wide Web. Feb. 1997.
Our site was chosen as one of the "Ten Cool Sites" for the month of February 1997. Every month, the Exploratorium picks the best in science, art and education. Sites are submitted by visitors to the Exploratorium homepages or suggested by Exploratorium staff. Sites are selected based upon their content, their design and the overall experience of visiting them.
LookSmart awarded five of the Center's pages with The Editor's Choice Award: our home page, Gallery of Interactive Geometry, Chance Database, Rainbow Lab, and downloadable software. This award conveys the highest standard for providing a useful and high quality website. LookSmart is a subsidiary of The Reader's Digest. Jan. 1997.
NetGuide selected our site as a Gold Site -- one of the best on the Web. The Gold Award recognizes Web sites that meet stringent criteria for overall excellence.
Our site is one of 20 that was awarded "Best of January" by the Education World Search Engine. "On behalf of all net-surfing educators, we thank you for your contribution in making the web valuable for the education community". Jan. 1997.
The National Academy Press selected the Center's Gallery of Interactive Geometry site as the cool science link of the day on Jan. 2, 1997. The National Academy Press is the publisher for the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council.
This award is for our pages titled Circles of Light: The Mathematics of Rainbows. It was presented by the editorial staff of ZIA Resources, a family friendly internet site. November, 1996.
The Center's site was chosen as one of Computer Currents Interactive "links of the week" on July 8,1996. We were selected based on the originality, content, and quality of our site. Computer Currents Interactive is the online version of the computer magazine.
Our site was chosen to appear in the book "Walking the World Wide Web", a listings guide containing the finest and most interesting sites currently on the Web. Check out their on-line version by clicking on the icon. April, 1996.
Our overall site was awarded 4 stars by the McKinley Group's professional editorial team. This is the highest rating an Internet site can achieve in Magellan, McKinley's comprehensive Internet directory. Three primary factors were considered: depth of content, ease of exploration, and Net appeal. Our pages on MPEG Player for X have also been recognized by The McKinley Group. Jan. 1996.
The Gallery of Interactive Geometry is rated in the top 5% by Point Survey, a division of Lycos. Point rates and reviews only the best sites on the World Wide Web. Aug. 1995.
