Status of NSF Funding of The Geometry Center

In July of 1996, the National Science Foundation announced its plans to phase out the Geometry Center and its programs. The NSF has since agreed to fund the Center until August 31, 1998.

Our sincere thanks go to all of you who sent letters to the NSF in support of the Center and its activities.

The future plans for the Center include a move to Lind Hall, East Bank campus of the University of Minnesota. The move is tentatively scheduled for mid-July, 1997. Our new address will be:
