Up: People at the Geometry Center

This form lets you find out information about people at the Center using the Unix finger command. This information comes from the user's .plan file, or from the main system information database

You can obtain several different types of data from this form:

To find out about a user or collection of users (e.g., their userIDs, what's in their .plan files, their full names, etc.), type in a person's name and press the Lookup button. You may get information about several people. For example, type David and press Lookup to find out about all the Davids at the Center.
To see if a specific user is logged in somewhere at the Center, type in the userID followed by @geom and then press the Lookup button. For example, type monroe@geom and press Lookup to find out if the user with userID "monroe" is currently logged in.
