Demonstration of Using Maple as a Helper App
This page is simply coded in HTML, but the "link" below
should launch Maple with a pre-specified worksheet.
Now point to some neat Maple worksheet via an appropriate
link.
(Note: you could also create and use a button here...)
And then you can link to the next part of the lesson, or whatever...

Misc. Notes on Making This Work
If you are working on a Macintosh using Release 3 or earlier:
- - create your Maple Worksheet,
- - from the File menu select Save A Copy In, and
- - in the dialog box specify Save In Standard Format.
PC and Unix versions of Maple V Release 3 save in "standard format"
by default; in Release 4, all versions are supposed to do that.
From any platform, if you use filenames of
8 characters or less with the .ms extension,
things should work the same way from Mac and PC machines.
Your Web-Browser's Helper App options should be set up
so files ending in .ms will launch the Maple application
on your machine. (Maple Worksheets will be in TEXT format.)
