Design Issues: Global Structure
- Let the structure of your pages reflect the structure of your data.
- Don't try to put everything on the "home" page.
- Don't bury important information many levels deep.
- Let your directory structure reflect the structure of your data.
- Use logical, meaningful names.
- Use modular, extensible design.
- Build for the future.
- Use subdirectories per year or per term.
- Provide a means of retrieving older data.
