Welcome to my own personal screening room. Have a seat; stay for the
show. Today, we screen A Clockwork Orange. Enjoy.

"i wonder --what films are shown
here?" you mumble to yourself.
 Obviously, the films of
Stanley Kubrick , so they have taste. They must
show films by the other greats: Elia Kazan, Lars von Trier, Francis
Copolla,
Eisenstein, Robert DeNiro, Marlon
Brando, Paul Newman,
James Dean, Peter Fonda.
And the world's greatest films, like On
the Waterfront, Apocalypse
Now, Cool Hand Luke, M
Natural Born Killers, Midnight Cowboy, Rebel
Without a Cause, and Aguirre, the Wrath of God.
 "indeed,
we do," says a voice softly from behind. You turn to see the stern face
of an usher.
Shhhh! If you can't keep it down, you'll have to leave. You may find
something more interesting playing at one of these movie houses down
the street:
 U Film Society,
 Documentary Film Group,
Oak Street Cinema or Outlaw Films, formerly the
Law School Film Society. (Be careful; the neighborhood ain't what it
used to be...)
