Arnie Cutler

K-12 Education Coordinator, The Geometry Center

Arnie is a veteran of 34 years of teaching mathematics in public high schools in Minnesota. He early retired from the public school in 1994 and has assumed the position of K-12 Education Coordinator at the Geometry Center. Arnie recently completed a two -year term as President of the Minnesota Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

When Arnie is not doing his math thing, you may find him on a ski slope in Montana or out traveling with his wife Jan in their motorhome. Church choir and listening to music fill up many hours. Some favorites are Sounds of Blackness, The Nylons, Maynard Ferguson, or anybody playing Dixie or Jazz.

Arnie has been accused of leading his children astray - daughter Sheri has a master's in statistics and son Mark is a PhD student in applied math!

A new grandson Hunter Nicklaus Smith arrived on September 21, 1995. The proud parents are Blake and Sheri Smith. Grandpa and Grandma Arnie and Jan are enjoying pampering Hunter.

Some of Arnie's favorite Math Oriented Web Pages are included for your browsing pleasure.
