The grey line is the image of the black line under the elliptic transformation. The blue point is the fixed point characterizing the transformation that the other points "rotate" about. You can move this blue point with the mouse to observe various transformations. The slider beneath the model controls the amount by which points are rotated. The slider runs from 0 to 6.28 = 2 pi (approximately).
