Everything went well. Roxana and Judy were great to work with [...]

I thought the projects were rather helpful in addressing the topics we were learning in class although at times they were often much more complex and comprehensive than what we were learning. I guess that's the whole point of them. [...]Sometimes just learning the topics in class you don't see the connection between everything but with the projects I thought they brought everything together rather nicely. I think what made the projects so difficult at times was that we couldn't see the connections but once you see them a light kind of goes off [..]

I think this is an appropriate time to thank you for all of the help you have given, not just on projects but throughout the course. You may find it silly to be thanking you for giving help, but of the nine courses/teachers I have taken so far at Cornell, you are the only teacher I have had who has demonstrated a genuine interest and care for his/her students. Most of my other professors/T.A.s were rather aloof or simply indifferent to their students. I don't know if it's because other classes were larger than our math class this semester, or because professors are more concerned about their own work or what, but what you're doing is the right thing. It's amazing how much more enjoyable and easier learning is when teachers are available and willing to help. I found it shocking to see a teacher willing to come back at night to help students. I actually thought that sometimes you were too nice and students were taking advantage of your willingness to help. I am not the only student in the class who really appreciated your teaching. I hope that when you become a professor one day that you continue to teach and help and care about your students in the same fashion because it really is great for students.
