Teacher's notes for Triangle Explorations

Materials Needed:

  1. Triangle Worksheets

  2. Geometers' Sketchpad Program Check under preferences of this program. Make sure angle measures are recorded in degrees. The lesson will not be effective if the angle measures are recorded in directed degrees.

  3. Run the following pages for students to record observations.

B. Right Triangle

Use Triangle ABC to create a right triangle. Select one vertice at a time and drag it around until you have created a right triangle.

Use your drawing to fill out the chart and record observations.
