This Web site was set up to facilitate communication between task force members and the University community as well as to provide a forum for University employees to exchange information about health benefits issues.

Work Plan	The University of Minnesota purchases health benefits for its employees through the State of Minnesota's Department of Employee Relations. The task force has embarked upon a comprehensive project to study possible alternative purchasing arrangements.
Buck Consultants	The University of Minnesota has engaged Buck Consultants to assist the Task Force and the University's Department of Employee Benefits in the study and possible implementation of alternative purchasing arrangements.
General Information	The task force maintains links to information which may be relevant to the ongoing discussion.
