Medica Drops More Providers

Medica Premier has dropped more providers for 1999. Clinics dropped are: Chanhassen Medica Center, Chisago Lakes Medical Center, Fairview Cedar Ridge, Fairview - Eagan, Fairview Hiawatha, Fairview Highland Park, Fairview Lakes - North Branch, Fairview Lakes - Wyoming, Fairview Northeast, Jamestown Health System, Mork Clinic - Elk River, Red River Clinic, Quello - Bloomington, Quello - Braemer, Quello - Burnsville, Quello - Centennial Lakes, Quello - Eden Prairie, Quello - Lakeville, Quello - Mall of America, and Quello - Savage. All clinics except Red River are available with other health plans and in most cases are available with the low cost plan in the county. If you are enrolled in these plans and do not change health plans - you will stay in Medica and find out in January that you must pay the higher premium and lose your clinic all at the same time.
